Jorge M. Developers and Builders Alliance honored Mr. Pérez in 2005 with its most exalted award, the 2006 Community Advancement Award. In Cannes, France, he received The Icon in Real Estate Award of Excellence at MIPIM. Most recently, he was the recipient of The Urban Land Institute Southeast Florida Lifetime Achievement Award and The National Building Museum’s Annual Honor Award for his contribution to architecture and design. Because of his long term involvement and $40 Million contribution, the new Herzog and De Meuron Art Museum will be named The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM).billion.
